Calendula Facial Cleansing Balm

I like the Natural rich ingredients of this cleansing balm. Oils extracted from sweet Almonds, Shea, Mango, etc. Made in the UK and according to the ingredients, it is purely vegan and natural, without artificial additives.

It's totally different from ordinary, water or alcohol based, cleanser. This is very thick almost like Vaseline texture.
It removes makeup and lipstick effeciently BUT leaves an oily trace on the skin. For me this is not an issue as my skin has became dry with my 50+ age. Few years ago, I had stopped using micellar and tonic water as makeup removals and started using kinder ingrediens, such as coconuts or almond oils to clean my face.
Hence, this balm suits my skin care method !!

Almost no sell and no irritation..
The included muslin cloth is useless. It is harsh to my skin so I simply used my soft cleansing tissue.

This is packaged really well so would make a lovely gift. The balm itself is smooth and creamy, feeling luxurious to touch. The smell is slightly sweet I found but I liked that. The balm works really well as a cleanser removing dirt easily. I have sensitive skin on my cheeks but there was no redness or itchiness after using this. Would definitely recommend this product

Arrived promptly and makes skin very soft

I bought this as it comes in a tin rather that horrible plastic. It feels a little greasy at first but I soon got used to it and will stick with it from now on. This is my 2nd time of buying.

Good quality product, good value for money

I used to use the body shop version of this. It’s natural, no overpowering scents. Last a long time for one tin as only a penny size amount used each time so is also great value. Easy to use in any skincare routine, use a flannel or some kind of pad to remove as it’s slightly oily so need to ensure you remove all the product.

Having tried a known retailers version of this cleansing balm, I decided to give this one a go instead. And I'm glad I did! It's a little thicker, so actually dont need to use a massive amount and I feel it really does the job better. My skin feels really clean and soft after rinsing. Recommend

Smells nice, and skin feels smooth and conditioned. Little goes a long way, I find best used with microfibre cloth or pads and hot water..

Great dupe for the Bodyshop's camomile cleanser balm, but supporting a smaller, independent, UK business - which isn't often the case on Amazon!

Smells wonderful and a little goes a long way. Removes make up with ease, including my waterproof mascara. My skin is sensitive and usually turns red after I use any make up remover, but not this time! After I'd used the balm, my skin felt soft with no redness. I highly recommend this product!

I absolutely love this product. I decided to change my cleansing balm and came across this one. I was sceptical at first because oh how cheap it was and after reading the reviews I wasn't sure. But decided to give it a go. I honestly don't get some of the reviews. It hasn't got much scent no, but then it's a natural product so I wouldn't of expected it to anyway. Doesn't bother me at all. And there were comments by it didn't melt. Well mine melts amazing. Juat run in between your hands to melt and then over your face. You definitely need a flannel to wash off. It literally melts away any make up on your skin. Amazing product. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Taking makeup off

Very good vegan product. I find the best way to use it is to dampen cotton roll with warm water, squeeze out excess water, rub across the butter so it has a light covering and then clean face. Very good for removing waterproof mascara. I always finish off with the cloth that came with the product, dampened with cool water to remove anything I missed.

Only negative, not much smell to it but otherwise it cleans very well and does not upset my combination skin. I will purchase again.

This product worked really well for me, I’ve bought this twice and both times have been pleasant experiences. I wear light makeup and it does well to get it off, though your skin does feel a little oily afterwards as it’s quite a thick balm but it’s good if you have combination skin like me. My dry areas are my cheeks which this product does good for.

I also use it to get rid of eye-makeup.
My eyes are quite sensitive so I just massage my eyes with the product rather than rub it in.
I solely use this product as a make up remover rather than a cleanser so I always use products afterwards to strip my skin of grime. But it does the job for me as a make-up remover that I am happy with.

This is a lovely cleansing balm & removes makeup well.
Needs to be well washed off as it can be thick on the skin. But massage it well into your skin.
Not my favourite but worth trying.
Good for travelling as it is solid.

This balm, this.balm......I have tried them ALL, every cleansing balm out there on the beauty lists over the years I have tried them all, but none of them come close to this one. My teenage son has started to use it aswell and what a difference it has made to his skin after having tried many ‘spot’ products. Everything about it pleases me, and my 42 year old skin has never looked better, it really cleans into the pores with the cloth and with a x50 magnifying mirror I can see no clogged pores at all anymore . It Doesn’t sting in my eyes and even when my excema flairs up I can still use it. Love it and as long as it’s made ....I will buy it. Onto my fifth tub.

This is a lovely product and a brilliant price. I really love it, HOWEVER, it's very thick and greasy and it's really difficult to remove. Even after a second cleanse with a rinse off cleanser I still feel that there's a residue. It doesn't seem to be causing me any issues though. I'm not sure if I'll buy again, I definitely would if it were a slightly lighter consistency.

I took a chance on this cleansing balm and I'm so glad I did. It's silky smooth, leaves my skin soo soft, clearer and reduced the redness and spots.
Its so reasonably priced and will repurchase again and again!

Fantastic balm for removing my makeup. It does however leave my skin quite oily after use that needs to be removed with a soap but that’s expected. Be careful around the eyes as I’ve found my eyesight to blur for a few moments when it’s gotten in my eyes. Love that the product is vegan!

I love the fact that the ingredients are organic and all natural. It comes with a really good quality muslin cloth too. The cleanser has a really lovely subtle scent. It is nicely packaged and feels luxurious to use. Gently smooth over dry skin, dampen the muslin cloth and use to remove the cleanser, I rub the cloth a little more around the nose and chin areas for a good cleanse and exfoliate, as I have combination skin. My skin has a light silky feeling afterwards from the Shea butter and feels beautifully clean and moisturised. This product is very versatile as you could also use it as a good quality natural moisturiser. The tub will last and last as you only need to use a small amount. Lovely product.

This lovely cleansing balm - is just that a balm for the skin.

It is all-natural and solid in screw-top pot. The pot is white with grey text so simple yet looks expensive.

I think this is a very fairly priced product.

I scoop a small amount out and massage it all over my face. . I then use a re-usable wipe or face cloth with warm water and wipe off the makeup and clean up my skin.

I ove that this leaves my skin clean and not stripped of all its natural oils.

I like oily cleansers as they get all the makeup off and leave my face feeling nice too.

It is gently effective.

This bal can also be used for other things such as elbows and lips. I also find it great for applying to my nails and cutlicles.

It doesn't have any real aroma but has the benefit of wonderful soothing calendula. the oils and butters of mango and shea are also very moisturising.

I love this balm

I tried to use this cleansing balm to clean my skin, but although I understand the theory that applying oil to oily dirt removes the dirt I just did not feel comfortable with rubbing oil on my face without washing it off. Luckily the ingredients are all natural so that's why I am now using this cleansing balm as a balm to put on my dry skin patches, which is working well - my skin feels moisturised and soothed.

This is a gentle balm that arrives with a sturdy muslin cloth. Like all balms, it is solid but dissolves into an oil when meets warm skin. It removes makeup well and the muslin cloth acts as a bit of an exfoliator but between the two, all makeup is removed well. Skin feels soft and clean afterwards. A nice gentle scent as well. Love how it is natural and vegan too. The only downside is that the oil leaves a film on my eyes so it takes a bit to be able to see properly after using, which is a pity as I like to read in bed. Perhaps I use too much around the eyes, so watch for that. Otherwise, a really nice product

I love trying different cleansers.
I have combination skin that is also very sensitive and I also wear makeup everyday, so this ticks all the boxes.
It doesn't dry out or make my skin any oilier.
It does not cause any reactions and smells beautiful.
This product removes makeup perfectly. It breaks down makeup, including waterproof mascara, almost as if its just melting away. My skin feels soft and moisturised afterwards. Its great going to sleep knowing that my skin is clean and taken care of.
Easy to apply, it feels lush on my face, I love applying it and then wiping it off and watching the remnants of the day's make up magically melt off my face.
My face has never felt so clean! I love it.
I'd recommend buying washable, re-usable make-up cloths to use with this...
