Premium Beeswax Wood Polish & Furniture Wax
Perfect for all your wooden items and types of wood, including oak beams, antique furniture…

PURE NATURAL INGREDIENTS
Perfect Wood Protection
Both beeswax and olive oil form a protective, water-resistant barrier on the wood's surface. This barrier helps to repel moisture and prevent it from penetrating the wood, which can reduce the risk of swelling, warping, or rotting.

Application & Care
Easy to apply
Simply rub in circular motions to warm the wax, then apply evenly to the wood surface using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. This straightforward application process makes our wood polish perfect for both professional woodworkers and enthusiastic hobbyists.

Enhance Wood’s Natural Beauty
Restores and Revitalises Wood
Our polish restores and revitalises older wooden surfaces by filling minor scratches, scuffs and imperfections, effectively reducing the appearance of wear and tear. It's perfect for giving tired wooden furniture a refreshed, renewed look.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be used on antique furniture?
Yes, beeswax wood polish is generally safe for antique furniture and is often recommended because it nourishes and protects the wood without creating a hard, synthetic coating.
Can this wood polish be used on outdoor furniture?
It works by nourishing and sealing the wood with a natural, water-resistant layer, but beeswax is not fully weatherproof — sun, rain, and temperature changes will gradually wear it away.
Does this wood polish leave a shiny finish?
Yes, beeswax wood polish typically leaves a natural, soft sheen rather than a high-gloss, reflective finish.
Can this wood polish be used on all types of wood?
Yes , beeswax wood polish is generally safe for all types of natural wood.
Is this wood polish easy to apply?
Yes, beeswax wood polish is very easy to apply.
Can this wood polish be used on wooden kitchen utensils?
Yes, our natural beeswax wood polish is food safe and can be used on wooden kitchen utensils. The ingredients are entirely natural and safe, so it’s suitable for items like: wooden spoons, salad bowls and chopping boards.
Does this wood polish protect against water damage?
Yes, our Beeswax Wood Polish can be used on outdoor wooden furniture to nourish and seal the surface with a natural, water-resistant layer. However, because beeswax is not fully weatherproof, exposure to sun, rain, and temperature changes will gradually wear it away.
For wooden items that face harsher outdoor conditions, we recommend using our Danish Oil, which penetrates deeply into the wood and provides longer-lasting protection against the elements.
Does this wood polish have a scent?
The Rhoose Point Remedies Beeswax Wood Polish in its natural form has a mild, pleasant scent reminiscent of pure beeswax and subtle honey notes, thanks to the triple-filtered UK beeswax used.
If you choose a version with added essential oils (like sweet orange, lavender, or cedarwood), it will carry those natural, gentle fragrances — all COSMOS organic certified and very subtle.
Does this wood polish protect against scratches?
Beeswax wood polish helps reduce the appearance of minor scratches and surface wear by filling in tiny imperfections and adding a protective, nourishing layer to the wood.
Why does the beeswax wood polish contain olive oil?
Olive oil is essential for beeswax polish as it carries the beeswax into the wood and grain. Without olive oil, beeswax alone is too hard to apply directly to wood and would just sit on the surface and rub off from any kind of use or abrasion.
Will the Olive Oil go rancid?
Indeed fresh olive oil may go rancid after 18–24 months if not stored correctly and left open to the elements, which is why it should always be stored in a cool, dark place, even better a dark glass or tin container. Rancid olive oil won’t make you sick, however, if used in cooking it may ruin your recipe by giving the dish a strange flavor.
In the context of our wood or leather polish, which is manufactured in a screw top tin with an EPE seal for added protection, as the olive oil has been blended with beeswax, which has amazing natural sealing properties the oxidation that causes the oil to go rancid is much less likely to occur.
The product is therefore food and child safe, especially once absorbed by the wood and cured.
